FBI Director Christopher Wray has said that the bureau believes Covid-19 “most likely” originated in a “Chinese government-controlled lab”.
“The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident,” he told Fox News.
It is the first public confirmation of the FBI’s classified judgement of how the pandemic virus emerged.
China has denied a lab leak in Wuhan, calling the allegation defamatory.
Mr Wray’s comments come a day after the US ambassador to China called for the country to “be more honest” about Covid’s origins.

The US envoy to China has called on the country to be “more honest” about the origins of the Covid-19 virus.
His comments come a day after US media reported that a federal agency had found the pandemic probably started from a laboratory leak in Wuhan.
Why is the general public suddenly allowed to know now that the Wuhan leak scenario is not just a “racist” conspiracy theory? The U.S. Energy Department has concluded that the Covid pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak, according to a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress.
The shift by the Energy Department, which previously was undecided on how the virus emerged, is noted in an update to a 2021 document by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines’s office.

China has released its much-anticipated position paper on the Russia-Ukraine war, in which it calls for a ceasefire and talks between the two parties.
Conflict and war “benefit no one”, China said on Friday in the 12-point paper, timed to coincide with the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of neighbouring Ukraine.
Conflict and war only benefit the psychopaths who have assumed control of US, EU, and NATO foreign policy. That is why US, EU, and NATO actors engineered the war in Ukraine by organizing the coup which overthrew the constitutional, democratically-elected government of Ukraine in 2014. That is also why the US, EU, and NATO immediately rejected the ChiComs’ peace plan.

Some sources, such as CNN, have already announced that it has already happened. Joe Biden says we will respond if it does happen, but that there is no evidence of it happening yet. To be fair, Joe Biden has no idea what planet he is on or what day it is, so he most likely has no clue what China has done or will do. Based on the way that every tinpot Western bureaucrat and their mom is trying to sound tough by dictating China’s policy, I suspect that the ChiComs will have no problem bailing out Russia, if/when Russia ever needs it.

In an interview with Russia’s state-run news agency RIA Novosti on Thursday, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov blamed the Biden administration for explosions that damaged the gas transportation network in September, vowing there would be “consequences.”
As the Biden Administration does everything possible to escalate the war, the adults in the room are trying to pull us back from the edge of the cliff.

The Obama-Biden Administration deliberately started the Ukraine war in 2014. The warmongering chickenhawk Globalist and Neoconservative politicians and bureaucrats in Washington DC who are peddling this insanity do not care how many people they kill, or how many nations they destroy. They will push the US/NATO global war agenda until it cannot be pushed any further.

A Ukrainian official said Thursday his country is preparing “assault brigades” to take back its occupied territories, which include part of the eastern Donbas region as well as Crimea, the Black Sea peninsula that Russia illegally annexed in 2014.
The announcement came from National Police Chief Ihor Klymenko, who was appointed the country’s acting interior minister following the death of government officials in a January 18 helicopter crash on a foggy morning in a residential suburb of Kyiv. Klymenko said in a press release Thursday that Ukraine is forming “Offensive Guard” assault brigades that will be made up of police and border guards and have the goal of “liberating our territories.”
“These are people who went through the crucible of 2014-2015, some of whom fought already in 2022,” Klymenko said. “Some of them are wounded. The units will consist exclusively of volunteers who are driven by patriotism, and there are a lot of such people in our country.”
Crimea is Russia. Ukraine is not going to take Crimea from Russia. We wanted to box the Russians out of the Black Sea, and we started this war in part to achieve that objective. As with the war we started in Syria — in part to box the Russians out of the Mediterranean — we failed.
It has been a while since I have had the time or inclination to post here regularly. However, today’s news out of Ukraine is worthy of a post. The Russians are poised to capture ten to twenty Ukrainian brigades in the encirclement of Bakhmut, which will be a major turning point in the Battle of Donbas. The Russians also appear to be ready for a massive offensive that cannot be stopped without a major intervention by NATO.
